The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms | Blake and Cassidy
So 2020, it was a wild year for many. And Blake and Cassidy had to get creative on celebrating their beautiful love. They chose to have a micro wedding in 2020 with just their family and wedding party. In 2021 they had a beautiful celebration where all the guests were invited to the Venue at Crooked Willow Farms. What a gorgeous space to have for a wedding. The outdoor cocktail hour was set into the middle of the red barns. Flowers were scattered about everywhere. Including a gorgeous walkway with huge tall trees. Just a gorgeous spot!
The day was set up differently than a typical wedding. We had family photos before all the guests arrived and then moved right into a cocktail hour. They had a video being played of their vows that they took the year. Cassidy and Blake shared another first dance before dinner being served. Its not often that I get to be part of two wedding celebrations for my bride and groom. And it made it SO incredibly special for me. Seeing familiar faces and previous clients…even though I was working I felt like a guest. I loved the ballroom at Crooked Willow Farms. Big tall vaulted ceilings, gorgeous florals and tablescapes with soft blue tones and the twinkly candle lights made for such a beautiful wedding.
The dancefloor. 2020 did quite the number on most of us but getting to see people out on the dancefloor…grandma’s laughing and watching the cutest little girl dance with her dad…so special. I loved that everyone was their to celebrate with Cassidy and Blake. What an incredible event to be part of. Cassidy and Blake, you two are always amazing to work with. I love that I get to see your sweet family grow too! Hug that adorable puppy for me. <3
